Also for water lovers living in land locked or “too cold for me” areas, that want to become certified divers while enjoying a relaxing vacation on our island.

The Open Water Referral program simply allows you to divide your Open Water Diver Course into different times and locations in such a way that you will be able to complete the Knowledge Development and Confined Water portions at your local dive center (sure they’ll have a heated pool for you) and arrive to Bananarama ready for your training in the Open Water.

So, no reading in the afternoons, no classroom sessions, no keeping away from the ocean and the beach! Just two days of diving and having fun!

Your four Open Water dives will be conducted on our beautiful reef by one of our experienced PADI instructors and it will take you just two mornings or two afternoons to reach your Open Water Diver certification!

To ensure your safety and enjoyment we work only with small groups (no more than 4 students per instructor) and choose dive sites where no other boats are moored up to avoid “close encounters” with a lot of other divers. We also respect and understand that each person learns at a different pace, so extra time and dedication is always available at no extra cost.

Global Referral and other diving agencies:

Although we are a PADI affiliated dive center, we also work with referral students from other agencies (NAUI, SSI, YMCA, etc.) and accept Global Referral forms. Talk to your instructor about it and feel free to Contact Us for more information.
