"What a great place to relax, have something to drink and eat right on the beach. The staff are all excellent. Carolina and Jessica will pay special attention to you at all times. And Steve is an awesome bartender. They will even bring your food or drink down to the beach if you want them to."

"When you find yourself on West Bay beach and you need to grab a bite to eat or drink, just belly up to the bar at the Thirsty Turtle. You cant go wrong with their finger foods, the Bananarama staff is kind, the drinks are cold. You will LOVE the people watching!!! Big ups!!!!"

"Great place to be. Excellent food, drinks, staff, and atmosphere. It's a destination definitely worth a short water taxi ride to West Bay. The Thirsty Turtle has everything you need to experience Roatan at it's best. This place seems to be the main focal point on West Bay beach. It's always got a crowd around but the bartenders are good at keeping up with everyone's orders. The beer is really cold, and they have drink specials throughout the day. A nice spot on a beautiful beach."

"We spent a ton of time at the Thirsty Turtle during our week in Roatan. The folks here really get it. Great Happy Hours ( I love that they start at 10:00am!) Food is good and their specials cannot be beat. We loved the 2x1 pizza on Mondays. Where else can you find brick oven pizza in Central America?
Sunday night is the best! The Island Fire Dancers are worth the visit. I was so surprised at how absolutely fascinating this was. Just spectacular. And the crab races are fun....more so because our crab dominated. We won!! We have since put him out to stud.
Trivia night on Tuesday is some fierce competition. I thought I was up to the challenge, but had my hat handed to me by several teams. I will be back for a re-match!
You have to stop by ...I am sure you will."

The Thirsty Turtle is truly the focal point of West Bay beach and offers fun games, music, singing, fire dancers, crab races and other activities at night throughout the week. There is something for everyone during your stay at Bananarama Dive & Beach Front Resort. If you are staying at Island Pearl Resort, then wander next door and join in the festivities!
