Airport Arrival and Departure Taxes
Transportation arrangements can be made along with your reservation.
For transportation to and from the Roatan Airport, for 1-4 people, it is $25. Each additional person is $5. A Bananarama Resort representative will meet you at the airport, handle your baggage, and get you safely to the resort.
Car rentals - we are happy to arrange car rentals for guests either by the day or for the week or month. We are able to secure good rates and the car rental companies drop the car off at the resort for you and pick it back up.
At the end of your stay, you can arrange to be returned to the airport at our BananaramaDive office. The driver will be glad to help you get your luggage into the airport. If you need assistance checking in, please let him know.
As of January, 2009, the departure tax is $38.04 per person. This can be paid in US dollars or Lempiras. It is a good way to get rid of your leftover Lempira money! Once you check in, get your boarding pass and give the airline your luggage, you will move to the Airport Departure Lines. Pay your tax and then get in line for the boarding scanners. Once you are through there are bathrooms, food and drink, ample seating and a few shops in the waiting area. You will board through the doors, walk to the plane and board from the rear of the plane.
Passports and Health Cards
